Entry Requirements
Proficiency in reading and writing in English and basic IT skills.
Learning Outcomes
• Understand the main steps of the communication process in relation to Human Resources Management.
• Describe well defined goals for more effective communication.
• Understand other people’s communication styles and needs.
• Identify and apply techniques to facilitate effective team communication.
• Understand emotional intelligence to deal with particular contexts.
• Evaluate own learning and draw up personal and developmental plans accordingly.
• Apply theories covered to the workplace.
• Search for and evaluate the validity of online (and other) sources of information.
• Use online sources to supplement their classroom learning.
• Interpret & apply news reports and statistical data relevant to HRM.
• Learn from peers.
• Transfer skills & knowledge learnt to the workplace and evaluate said knowledge accordingly.
• Critically Reflect on own and others’ HRM practices.
• Use Self-managed learning to identify and cater for change and development.
