Learning Outcomes

Preliminary Introduction to Visual Arts II is an opportunity for learners to engage in activities to develop a range of skills and techniques in the visual arts at level 1. The content intentionally aims to help learners become familiar with the principles and elements of art while completing a variety of activities and experimenting with different media and processes through painting, printing and three-dimensional artworks. In addition to art production students will be introduced to art history.

1. Identify and describe Artists and their work from a limited selection.
2. Learn about and use basic painting techniques.
3. Learn about and use basic three-dimensional techniques.
4. Learn and experiment with basic printmaking techniques.

By end of December 2018 student must be 8 years old.
