Learning Outcomes

Introduction to Visual Arts II is an opportunity for learners to engage in activities to develop a range of skills and techniques in the visual arts at level 2. The content intentionally aims to help learners become familiar with the principles and elements of art while completing a variety of activities and experimenting with different media and processes through painting, printing and three-dimensional artworks. In addition to art production students will be introduced to art history.

1. Identify and discuss Artists and their work from a varied selection.
2. Learn about and use a number of painting techniques in a given task.
3. Learn about and use a number of three-dimensional techniques in a given task.
4. Learn and experiment with a number of printmaking techniques.

As acceptance in the course is on a first come first served basis your application may fall under the waiting list should the number of applied students reach the maximum allowed in a class.
