Learning Outcomes

This unit offers learners a comprehensive overview of the history of visual arts.  It covers a considerable spectrum, including artistic techniques, as well as the Middle Ages and renaissance art. The course gives particular attention to essential sessions on elementary concepts, using formal and analytical approaches to appreciate and understand various aspects of visual arts in its cultural, political and historical context. The course also incorporates specific on-site sessions, including gallery and museum visits.
