Learning Outcomes

This unit offers learners a broad synopsis of the history of visual arts.  The course covers a considerable spectrum, covering art theory, neoclassicism, romanticism and modern art. It includes essential sessions on elementary concepts, using formal and analytical approaches to appreciate and understand various aspects of visual arts in its cultural, political and historical context. The course also incorporates specific on-site sessions, including gallery and museum visits.
