In 2020, the Directorate for Research Lifelong Learning and Employability (DRLLE) formed its own Guidance team. Consisting of 5 guidance practitioners, the team is active within DRLLE’s 8 lifelong learning centres providing tailor-made guidance. Guidance services include communication with learners, advising, informing, referring and counselling. The Guidance Team is also active with prospective learners, and takes an active role in various outreach activities.
The team is always ready and willing to help anyone gain a clearer understanding of the available learning pathways, as well as providing support to those who are struggling to balance their commitments.
This initiative was carried out in conjunction with the EU Agenda for Adult Learning Project, and is in line with the priorities of the national Lifelong Learning Strategy and Upskilling Pathways Recommendation.
