Most courses do not require qualifications to attend. However with regards to courses such as SEC level subjects, which are revision classes, the necessary background is required for students to be able to complete the course. Additionally, most MQF 2 or Level 2 courses require either knowledge or completion of the MQF 1 or Level 1 course. For Open Classes, experience in the craft or completion of the MQF Level 1 / Level 1 course is highly recommended.
When applying for courses in Maltese, Maltese as a Foreign Language, English and English as a Foreign Language, including Maltese and English Conversation classes, applicants will be required to sit for a placement test to check their appropriate level. Applicants will receive an email with details of their placement test. Applicants for MQF Level 2 who submit a recognised MQF Level 1 certificate or official grade report as part of their application will be admitted to the course, subject to verification of the submitted documentation.
